Description
Lewis’s Black Red Tag is a compact, buggy nymph pattern designed for trout and grayling fishing. Its dark body creates a strong natural silhouette, while the red tag adds a clear trigger point that helps fish pick it out in moving water.
The bead gives the fly added weight and attraction, helping it sink quickly into the feeding zone through riffles, glides, pockets, runs, and deeper pools. Its slim, dark profile makes it useful in clear water, colder conditions, and when fish are feeding close to the riverbed.
A reliable choice for Euro nymphing, upstream nymphing, and general river fishing, Lewis’s Black Red Tag is a versatile searching pattern with a proven colour contrast.
