Description
Here’s a detailed look at the Royal Leisure Colonel Chair R704/B, a robust and comfortable outdoor folding chair designed with camping, caravans, and garden use in mind.
The Colonel Chair brings together high‑back comfort, reliable adjustability and practical portability. Its elevated backrest supports the upper torso and neck, making long lounging sessions more comfortable. With six reclining positions, you can adjust from upright to a more relaxed angle, giving it versatility whether you’re reading, relaxing or just enjoying the outdoors. Despite its generous size, the chair remains easy to transport: it folds down flat to a narrow profile and weighs only about 5.6 kg, so it’s manageable for packing into a boot or storing in a shed. Built for durability, it supports up to 120 kg, indicating its suitability for most adult users and repeated use in outdoor settings. The padded fabric adds extra comfort and the frame is robust enough to cope with typical indoor and outdoor usage. All in all, if you need a go‑to reclining outdoor chair that balances comfort, adjustability and portability, this model is a strong choice.

Designed for outdoor use (camping, caravan, garden) with easy fold‑down for transport and storage
In use, the Colonel Chair offers a comfortable retreat after a day outdoors. Whether pitched at your campsite or deployed in the garden, its high‑back construction means you don’t need extra pillows or cushions for basic support, and the reclining mechanism allows you to adjust your posture to suit the moment — whether upright for drinks with friends or partially reclined for a quiet read. The fold‑down design means it won’t monopolise space when stored or transported. One tip: to maximise the life of the chair, ensure it’s cleaned of debris and folded dry before storing after use in damp or sandy conditions.
