Premium Hydrolysed Yeast Liquid is a pure, fully soluble yeast extract produced from brewer’s yeast using enzymatic hydrolysis, filtration and concentration. The hydrolysis process breaks down the larger yeast proteins into a highly concentrated combination of small peptides and free-form amino acids, producing a dark, rich and highly palatable liquid food with no precipitates.
What really sets this product apart is the level of analysis behind it. Protein-size testing shows that the larger proteins present in the original yeast have largely disappeared following hydrolysis, having been broken down into small peptides and free amino acids below 5 kDa. Further mass-spectrometry analysis shows that the peptides are predominantly concentrated in the 0–2,500 Dalton range, with a maximum peptide molecular size of 5,000 Daltons.
The result is an exceptionally versatile liquid yeast product with an impressive nutritional profile:

For bait makers, this makes Premium Hydrolysed Yeast Liquid an extremely useful multi-purpose liquid food. Its rich yeast profile, high level of small peptides and naturally occurring amino acids make it ideal for incorporating into boilie base mixes, spod and particle mixes, stick mixes, pellets and other bait applications.
We originally sourced this fantastic liquid when established hydrolysed yeast liquids such as Celmanax became increasingly difficult to obtain. Rather than simply finding a direct replacement, we wanted a product with a genuinely comprehensive specification and detailed analysis of its amino acid and peptide content. This product ticked every box and is now our hydrolysed yeast liquid of choice.
Recommended inclusion: Up to 30ml per kg of base mix, adjusted according to the other liquids being used.
